Stranger Than Fiction
A total of one page has been cut from the story. It appears that the
eight panels between page 8 panel 4 and
page 9 panel 5 were cut from the (equivalent
of) 16 that should fit there.
Remembering his first visit to Carl Barks, Joseph Cowles wrote in an
August 4, 2000 e-mail:
I don't remember what material was cut from "Stranger Than Fiction."
It's the story Barks was working on at the time of that first visit, so he may
not have had all the pages completed. I don't recall having seen "The Madcap
Mariner" in production, nor the Aswan Dam materials, nor "Mythic Mystery." Sorry
that I can't be more help with your search.
