According to a footnote, Barks' quote is taken from "Uncle Scrooge McDuck, p. 270". Apparently this is Uncle Scrooge His Life & Times, mentioned in an earlier footnote.

Questions: Is the quote really taken from Uncle Scrooge His Life & Times?

us/CBLCP 1 - The Carl Barks Library - Set I & II colour plate portfolio

Publisher: [Another Rainbow Publishing]
Publication date: ....
Country: USA
Type: portfolio collection

Additional credits: Cover portfolio set issued with subsequent volume of The Carl Barks Library.

Description: This portfolio of art contains sixty cover reproductions from The Carl Barks Library of Walt Disney's Donald Duck (Sets I & II) which originally appeared on Donald Duck Four Color and Donald Duck comic books from 1942-1969. Twenty-four of these covers appear in a large 12 1/4 inches x 8 5/8 inches format. Barks did not do all of the covers from this period, although over half of the oversized covers are by him. Thirty-six smaller four-color covers are reproduced in groups on the reverse of the large prints, along with notes to the covers indicating when and where they originally appeared and which ones are by Barks. The reverse pages also include a number of one-page gags, examples of Barks' oil paintings and more. As an added bonus, there are copies of the slipcase covers of Sets I and II.

us/CBLCP 2 - The Carl Barks Library - Set VIII colour plate portfolio

Publisher: Another Rainbow Publishing
Publication date: ....
Country: USA
Type: portfolio collection

Additional credits: Cover portfolio set issued with subsequent volume of The Carl Barks Library.

Description: Issued as a "printer's overrun" from the first release of the Carl Barks Library, Set VIII. When Another Rainbow inaugurated their hardcover Carl Barks Library project in the early 1980's with a three volume set devoted to Carl Barks' stories from Walt Disney's Comics and Stories, they decided to run off a few hundred extra copies of the color plates used to print the set. When they offered this portfolio of "printer's overruns" to the collector's market, they were stunned to discover that demand was so great that the portfolio of 24 prints sold out almost instantly. And although the press run of the cover portfolio sets that would be issued with subsequent volumes of The Carl Barks Library were vastly increased, the prints in the portfolio from that first set were never reprinted. Format is 12 1/4 inches x 8 5/8 inches.

Publisher: [Another Rainbow Publishing]
Publication date: ....
Country: USA
Type: portfolio collection

Additional credits: Cover portfolio set issued with subsequent volume of The Carl Barks Library.

Description: The portfolio of art contained in this set reproduces 63 covers from The Carl Barks Library of Walt Disney's Donald Duck (Set IX) which originally appeared on Walt Disney's Comics and Stories during 1954-1959. Fifteen of these covers, all by Barks, appear in a large 12 1/4 inches x 8 5/8 inches format for the first time. Forty-eight smaller full color covers are reproduced in groups on the reverse of the large prints, along with notes to the covers indicating where they originally appeared and which ones are by Barks. In addition, there are miniature reproductions of four Carl Barks Donald Duck family lithographs published by Another Rainbow, and a 12 1/4 inches x 8 5/8 inches full color version of the subsequent slipcase drawing for this set.
